Just be nice boys. Plenty of SHO love for everybody and parking lot space. But probably not enough beer. So bring beer.

Hehe, I just noticed my join date is before James. I'm cooler than him now.

Ok, so you just knocked out 90% of the forum you come to.

:coolstorybro:

I'll give you that 50% of members here are teenagers or college students. Look at my join date. I've seen them come and go, brother. Believe me. Most people here come and go. I'm not singling anyone here out. Your post hit a nerve. How could it not. I cant afford a payment on a 2010/2011, but could have paid cash for one. I chose not to. Doesn't make me better than you, or the teenage kid who can't afford a new SHO. Funny how it works. I'll reiterate myself one more time hoping you understand: I'm not singling anyone out or trying to start shit. You are the guy who made the dick comment. Not me.

When you come to a convention and are stuck in a corner by yourself, I'll just apologize now. There is a whole world of SHO's out there, some junk, some nicer than yours. But in the end, we should all be friends, and that's what I'm trying to figure out here. Us "poor" SHO owners stick together like glue. That's what im trying to figure out here. I've driven 500+ miles round trip just to "help" a guy out. What would you do? Sit back and say, oh man, that sucks? Alot of the Gen 4 guys, (not all, and not singling ANYONE out) would just drive by a caravan of broke down cars and say, I'm sorry: shoulda bought one with a warranty!!! Cmon guys, its the camaraderie that we strive on.

I know I dont make much sense, but if you follow what my point is, you'll figure it out.

This section seems awfully clicky to me. I have nothing against anyone here, but I think that at a convention or other gathering, you guys would stay away from us "lower value" car guys.

Yeah I know I probably would. I mean I drive a 4th Gen Taurus so I must be in the upper crust of society. LOL

I'm guessing you are a little lonely today and want to troll the 4th Gen section.

I think you misunderstood my post. I didnt mean that I hate people without money. I meant that I do not want to read every other post saying how jealous people are because they cant afford the car. Its nothing against people with other generations of the SHO. I have nothing but respect for the previous generations as it was the American answer to four doors with big motors. Although Ive never owned one and dont have a desire to do so that does not mean I dont have respect for those that own them, work on them, and drive them.

Did you post outside of the Gen 4 section, ever?

Yes, and you guys didn't respond to any of my posts. But I do agree, I didn't come here to argue but before you talk about money and having cash to pay for a car, it's really nobody's business how any one get's their car, I know a LOT of people who could pay for a car that chose not to, and for a variety of reasons. I'm done with this thread, I'm just happky that I've made friends with some pretty cool people here and hope to make more. BTW, I'm one of those really old guys here, heck, I can't even remember most of my college years.

So is Ron Porter, whats your point? I didn't call you out because I could have paid cash for a Gen 4. I also could care less if you're 12, or 90. I guess some people just wont ever get it.

I do understand, somewhat. I appreciate what you're saying. Like I knew when I posted this thread, most people immediately take it to heart. That is not how this is meant.

I did a long time ago and had it moved to Gen 4 section.:thankyou:

As you will note, I had quite a few earlier SHO's. Probably would have kept buying if the V-8 hadn't had such a bad rap. Loved the V-6 but didn't like replacing clutches, struts, and brakes.

Post here because of the EcoBoost engine.

Sorry you feel us EB posters are clicky but will have to say that there is much less hostility in this area....:hail::hail:

Actually not that many EB engined vehicles delivered, so we have rather unique drives.

I wouldn't buy a new SHO unless they offered a manual. So I have a V. And while I think it's the best car on the planet(damn straight!) I still like to come here and mix it up with you guys. It's about the peeeeepul, not the car...

I don't discriminate, I hate all of you equally. But I have to say out of all the car groups I have been affiliated with I can HONESTLY say the SHO crowd is by far the best group of people ever. I choose my friends carefully and would go out of my way for any member here as that is the kind of friendship and camaraderie I have experienced here. James you big softy you've helped me out even in non SHO related crap from several states away you're a **** of guy.

SAME. James has helped me out more than I could ask for, even if I do **** him off.

Yeah you're trolling the 4th Gen section with your thread. Ones post count doesn't matter but the topic does. This had flame bait written all over it when you wrote it and you know it. I have no interest in posting outside of the 4th gen section if you are a representation of what I'll have to deal with.

If you knew James, and didn't take his post to heart, you wouldn't have called him a troll, or his post flame bait.

Secondly, instead of generalizing the rest of the community based on one thread out of tens of thousands, why not just spend some time lurking in the other forums to get a feel for how everyone is instead.

Informed decisions are always a better way to go than jumping to conclusions. Just saying.

As far as people staying in their different cliques...

Of the few 2010 owners I know, most are pretty down to earth people save for one or two who love to talk about the older cars and so on. And some aren't. So be it. That said, I'm sure that of the Gen 4 owners that make it to the convention in July, few if any will be sitting on the sidelines sticking their noses up at the rest of us "commoners" if it's anything like last year.

Just my $0.02
