Well I had a slight delay but I picked out and paid for my subframe today.
Found a 97 SLO with 104K miles.
Should be pulled and waiting for me tomorrow.

I had my hose made locally for $11.

Like James said, get the SHO rack, pressure hose, and return hose.

While you're there, pick up the sway bar from the SHO.

Give me a call or PM if you want.

Happen to know what size that SHO swaybar is?
Can I still use my 90 sway bar or how does that part work exactly?

And that was with knuckles, LCAs, ect? Thats a good deal. I talked to Classic and they want $200 for all that.

Gen 3 bar = 22mm

And although not necessary, it also has the rings to keep it from sliding back and forth. And the ends are bent in greater than 90 degrees, but I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

yep.
Actually came with brakes, torched axels, struts, rack, swaybar on top of that.
Pretty much the whole shebang.
Call CAS and ask for Billy,he always gives decent prices.
I think they had 10+ gen 3 SLO's.

Better suspension geometry (control arms), the awesome Gen3 ZF steering rack, and bolt-in (as opposed to the stock Gen1/2 pressed-in) front bearings. There may be others, but those are the big ones I'm aware of. Essentially it's just an improved design.

So can't use Gen2 knuckles anymore?

I can get all these parts easy and know where for this kind of swap, but I just converted bolt pattern on my car, so that would be all over again. (MOney down the drain).
I guess I'll save up some for some other time and then try to sell my other conversion later

My front suspension needed to be re-worked with new bushings and all.
I'd much rather spend the $ on this setup and loose that crappy strut rod design.

Plus, I was able to run 2.0 60ft times with drag radials and no wheel hop. It is really a must with all that torque.

You will love it on the drag strip with that turbo youve got.

wait!!! there will be no srut rods with Gen 3 subframe???

Man, I was thinking how to put Mazda 6 rear suspension to Gen 2 to get rid of strut rods in a rear.
