"His 2.0L EcoTech GMs are in the high 400s whp, the 3.5L Ford will be epic"
Am I reading this wrong, I think it says upper 400 wheel horse power out of a 2 litre engine. Is that right?
The 6F55 is used in the Raptor with a 6.2L which has more power and torque than our cars.
The first number is the # of forward speeds, second character is Rear Wheel Drive based application or Front wheel drive based (i.e. "R" or "F") and the last set of numbers is the torque capacity.I was under the impression that the 55 in 6F55 was the torque rating of the tranny divided by 10. Is this not the case? Surely they wouldnt advertise a tranny being able to handle 550ft/lbs when it will only handle no more than 400...
Considering it's a SEMA vehicle it probably doesn't get much time on the road. This car is too new for anyone to know about longevity being stock or with a tune.
It's a hybrid SHO/tc

I kind of see that, since we're at a flat 350 ft lbs of torque. Maybe I'm not correct though, but I think that tuning is there in order to not destroy the trans.
)That jives with what I was told a former senior Ford transmission engineer.I spoke to a few engineers on the SHO and other EcoBoost D car programs and when I asked them about the weak point of the car, I was told the trans and that it was only designed to take about 400ft-lbs from the flywheel.
More details about the aftermarket stereo pls.
Its for sale now check out the METRA web site. It allows installation of a 2-din
aftermarket head unit. It matches the factory finish on the SEL (grey) but is paintable.
Please guys give me a break, this my 37th SEMA build and they all run and are
fully functional cars. You guys are way to critical. Did you even notice the wheels with the nickel plated lips and the grey -blue anodized centers and nickel plated calipers ? We are taking a SHO too new heights ! The stereo by the way is 1600 watts not 16,000 don't know where they got that info.
Hahn Racecraft will doing staged power upgrades throughout the coming year.
