Annoying chirping coming from the font wheels...

As the title states, my SHO has developed an annoying chirping sound in the front wheels. It only happens when the vehicle is traveling from about 15-45mph and stops when I press the breaks. I would love to know what it is and get it fixed, the sound annoys me and draws attention to the car. Any ideas?

I was thinking brakes, but James did them before I bought the car! Hmmm...Looks like the wheels are coming off this weekend!

I would guess with the brakes being new that who every put them on did not bleed all the air for the lines. You have a calber that is skiming the rotor. It will make it chirp and when you hit the brakes and it makes full contact the chirping will stop.

It is based on tire rotation.

The pads should be in constant contact with the rotor.

Did you bed the new pads? If not, do that.

What does "bed" the new pads mean? I personally didn't do the brakes on this car so I'm not sure what's all been done. I'm willing to try anything to fix it though.

I could also be the brake backing plate making contact with the rotor. Check around the lower ball joint.

x2 on what area 91 said. Look at the rotor straight on from back to front, or front to back while you slowly turn it and watch for the backing plate (dust shield) rubbing against the rotor. Sometimes they sound like a rubbing noise but other times they can sound like a chirp.
