Is it true that the purple injectors will give you 5 more horsepower?

Not true. You will, however, run just a bit richer in a 3.0L application, which may or may not shorten the life of your cats.

The difference is so small that I bet you can find an inconsistency of some 3L injectors measuring more flow than a 3.2L. In addition, the negligible amount of flow difference is easily corrected by the computer and will not make any change in power or drive-ability.

yessir.

If your taking apart the 3.0 and have 3.2 injectors sitting around why not? If your going to buy 3.2 injectors its not worth it. I already had 3 sets of 3.2 injectors and the engine was already apart when i did mine.

No. the little difference in total flow is completely adjusted out by the pcm during closed loop control and the engine doesn't know any difference.

at wot or during open loop control, they flow a couple % more fuel, which is not going to produce any more power since the thing runs way rich already at wot.

OL will apply CL correction values. It won't know the difference either.
