SHO NUP
Allen called me after his call to SHO Source.
From what he told me, it appeared that SHO Source would not help.
Allen said SHO SOurce says all sales are finale.
I suggested to Allen that he ...
1) Bring the mount to me and I would modify to fit.
2) Report a claim to the Attorney General.
3) Make a post on shoforum.com under the hall of fame or shame.
Allen brought his SHO to me for a PS pump replacement.
I had also tried to install the reinforced mount to no avail.
It appears that the valley support rod/tube was welded in position too high (circled area).
The paint was wore away from several install attempts.
This causes the thru bolts to miss align with the weld on nuts (see side view).
The receiving side of the mount must go higher to allow the bolts to engage the nuts.
We did a bit of grinding to the valley support rod/tube but more is needed.
Allen is a good guy and I support his claim.
