New World record in a 2010 SHO

I think this should be good to take the record for at least a few days.
I went to the track tonight and made a few passes with my 2010 SHO.
It made a couple 12.60 runs then I went 12.56 on my last pass for the night.
My best pass looked like this;

The 12.56 run my camera man only caught half track on but you can see the time and tell that it was me..

Looks like you shallow staged for the first run and deep staged for the second run. Note how the 60' time is higher in the first run but speed at the 1/8th is higher.

Great job! Hopefully we'll see one in the 11s here soon.

Awesome time and speed. My question is, how much more boost are you running? You were .101 slower to 60', slower to the 1/8th by .064, as compared to the 12.91 pass, but picked up .290 and 7.3 mph in the last 1/8th, that is some serious HP!! Side by side, you quicker run was .455 quicker from the 60' to 1320' mark.

congrats, you've got .2 more in that setup as well, you should be able to knock .1 off the 60 which should give you .2 more.

but i'm curious too, 7 more mph, lol 5 more than mine was

For my 12.60 runs I was spraying a 40hp dry shot
For my 12.56 pass I upped the jet to a 50hp dry shot

It was a compucar dry shot plug and play kit took about 10 minutes to put it in at the track. It was a friend of mines kit that runs it in a Pontiac GTP car..

I figure we already have one power adder whats one more... lol
I wanted the title of the quickest 2010 SHO so I had to do what I had to do...:woo-hoo:
Some people will say I cheated others will just appreciate what the car run..
The way I look at it some people say weight reduction is cheating, but when you are going after a record you do what you do.
I didn't do any weight reduction last night but that isn't out of the question down the road..

I have to agree with you. It is like a fight on the street, you will have to do anything to win, if you have to grab nuts or poking out eyes. I am looking to do the same when I get my car. I am ready.

And good job of becoming the fastest 2010 SHO hdmlnium, I wish I could meet you some time but I live on the west cost. maybe at the "SHO Club" in 2011. if you go to those events.

I was under the impression that DI motors were more difficult to get more fuel out of.

IDK, just something I heard.
