I just bought a set, so I'll put them on this weekend. Anyone have any experience with them? There isnt much for reviews because they are pretty new.

I've got them in 245/45/17 on my SHO. Much improved ride quality over the Sumitomos I had previously. Once I got some air in them they were very predictable on the track. Traction in the wet and dry is great.

Good to know, I bought them wanting good traction in wet, as well as dry spirited driving! My other tires were horrible in the rain, and Ill have another baby in June. I needed something to withstand the 5:00 storms in the summer! :woo-hoo:

i was eyeballin the DWS's, but they were weeks out of stock. i ended up with a set of General Exclaim UHPs, and i'm quite happy with em on both SHOs.

I have a set of DWS on my STS-V. I like them very much. My only complaint is that the tires have a little softness on turn-in. Much better than the OEM Pirelli run flats.

I was looking at my rear tires the other day, and the tires are getting close to the wear bars with 10K on them. I estimate I will have to replace the rear tires in another 5000 miles. Since the sizes are staggered I can't rotate them. I will try to see if they will pro-rate the tires since they suppose to have a 50k wear warranty. The front tires still look pretty new. I am suprised that I am wearing the rear tires so quickly.

UHP's are nice but they have too much side wall flex on the track.

I can understand that issue on the track. However, on the open road I've found them outstanding. They offer a very consistent package of ride, traction and handling(wet and dry) combined with a great price. Best tire I've ever had on my SHO. :salute:

agreed, they outperformed a lot of tires that were more expensive. I tested them in wet and dry, at the continental proving grounds in uvelde (spelling?) texas last weekend. I was very suprised, I never expected them to do so well.

Continental makes some very high quality stuff! One of the top brands in my book, I wouldn't think twice about buying them.. especially after getting the unrated version of Nick's experience above!!
