So I pulled my computer hoping to see that someone put the upgraded one in my SHO as a previous owner and turns out I can't figure it out.

The sticker say "remanufactured" on it in some places.

I doubt a whole lot. Mostly testing it to make sure everything works. If a chip or a resistor fried or something they might have replaced it. If you want a D4U1 you need to get a PCM that says D4U1.

I'm thinking about it. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to waste my money on it. What did they improve in that model again? Higher Line pressure in the Tranny?

not only higher line pressures but a much improved shift strategy as well. The D4U1 has been shown repeatedly to make transmissions last longer. The H3Z really was bad for trannies. That combined with the already weak tranny in the 93 is the reason that 80% of SHOs in junkyards are green 93 ATXs.

...usually with lower miles. Which I think is a blessing for anyone looking for parts...Ford designed a strategy for us to get low milage parts at the junk yard. Thanks Ford! hehe

Why is it that almost every 93 SHO is green anyway? Yeah I think I'm pick myself up a Du41 for the new tranny I'll be getting then.
