Where in Mass. are you? There are some write ups on here about people doing it in 4 hours, I did 2 heater cores and the first one took me like 7 0r 8 and i did the second alot quicker but never really timed it. I'm usually a little extra careful when it comes to my interior.

If you want a hand doing the heater core I don't mind mind helping you out. As for the tranmission I would definately do a filter/gasket kit with some decent fluid and if that helps maybe do a complete flush.

If your going to fix the oil pan leak you might as well do the rod bearings while you're at it. What color is your SHO? I have 2 green gen 2 front bumper covers that I will part with really cheap. The air silencer removal is not going to give you any more horse power but it sounds kind of cool when it is removed.

well its the sho in my sig pic which im assuming was removed as its not showing up anymore. silver. i already have the front bumper cover from a black 94 we got for a donor to the 2 we have, silver n red. the only problem with my current bumper cover is its cracked on the bottom alot, not a huge deal. n the whine from the bearing ive gotten used to as my "pretend supercharger" haha!! im hoping to do that air silencer thing or weld the holes maybe. oh hey do you think mufflers from a 99 cobra would weld in and sound badass or no? i have available a set for free from a friend

Someone on here used mufflers from a Mustang GT and he said they sounded pretty good so maybe the Cobra mufflers will sound good too.

The first time doing a heater core will take a good long time. Learning curve and all that. If you beat on the tranny it will go in short order. The 93 autos are notoriously weak.

YAY FOR POWER TOOLS!!! thank god and snap-on. heater core DONE bout 5 hours with myself and senior master tech(thanks stepdad!) who *might* have done a few before. only broke a few clips along the way and had to cut some wires cuz switches were corroded but no major problems. found out my tranny pan leaks a lil bit, looks like i hit something, gotta wait 3 days for the damn gasket. car still almost stalls out tho cuz we didnt get around to cleaning maf/throttle body/intake yet. pics? lets see if i can do this right lmao.

It's good to have that kind of help available. It would have been much longer by yourself. Good deal.:thumb:

No pics. There is a thread somewhere on the forum on how to gets pics to show up. A mech in the family will serve you well with this car. It'll always need something.

I don't hate..I appreciate. That would have made my early SHO ownership sooo much less painful.
