On my 94 ATX the temperature gauge only gets to the "N" or "O" (usually closer to the "N") on hot 90 degree days. I have even driven it 150 miles and it will not even get past the "O". I have read about the thermostat getting stuck open or the temp gauge sending unit going bad. I do not know what the most likely cause is. I have not driven the car enough to determine if fuel economy has suffered. Every time after popping the hood after running her for a while, she seems pretty damn hot, but the coolant has not reached the hot line on the reservoir (unless I need to add some coolant).
So, with all the experience you SHO owners have, which is a more likely cause?
Thanks,
David
