[angry rant]

ugh, just sent what i paid for already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

damn, i NEEED my car this weekend and now I can't drive it.

:madflame:

[/angry rant]

Seriously tho, band clamps are extra thing I wanted, not in place of anything I have already purchased. Please send what I have paid for.

I will buy the band clamps else where so there is no more confusion.

Thanks.

Just trying to find out what you needed as you kept asking but not telling me what you needed.

Im working on it to see if I can get the pipes today. They didnt make enough single pipes so I am working on it.

For the MTX it converts it to the flat gasket like the ATX. No more donut gaskets! The gasket is in the little USPS boxes.

For the ATX we made sure everything would fit up the same and it does. The ATX will still have the same pipe as the MTX to avoid the shifter.

Got my box Wednesday, installed it yesterday...

My review:

Notwithstanding the shop mounting the system too tight/high so it rattles whenever I have a rough gear transition and around right hand turns.

WARNING: if you run this system w/o cats it will rasp... a lot! Even after I replaced the catless y-pipe I had them make (damn stupid, can't even follow my own advice) with one I bought from Ramon/Shoya it still gives up a little rasp while revving through 3500~4000 rpm.

I have already begun searching for a more effective SS packed turbo muffler.

But for all those considering this VERY HIGH QUALITY, very easy to install cat-back kit... if you want to avoid the dreaded RASP, keep your cats in!

P.S. See you in NH!

Welp, finally finished my car up today. The catback with no muffler sounds kick ass :)

I however did put a stock looking turbo muffler on there. center to offset. It kicked the sound way down. She still has a nice rumble at idle and when the secondaries open up, well you know it :)

I will have to say I was worried, all the sounds that have been posted are ricey sounding with this catback, but mine is rasp free, and I mean NO RASP! Not cold, not hot, not between 3-4K rpm!!

Extremely pleased :)

just got mine today. looks pretty sweet. the man in brown told me to be careful cause he thought it was heavy...

I dunno if I'm gonna install it yet. I'm thinking I may turbo the car and leave the side exhaust on. with that the rust and a lot of dust on it from not being driven would make for one helluva sleeper:devil:

I may save it for a SHO more worthy. Depending on where I get statined I'll probably be able to pick up a rust free one with hopefully lower miles to play with.

I installed my SHO Source single exit catback and catted Y-pipe this past weekend. Definitely impressed and happy with how it came out. System went on pretty smoothly and the pipes are well made. Definitely would have been helpful to have some pictures though, so I recommend printing off or downloading the pics off of this thread/SHOSource's site as at times it seemed like things weren't aligning properly when they really were.

My 91 is a cable shift so it looked like the exhaust was over too far, but it was actually perfect. Most impressed by how well it hugs the body and doesn't hang down like the garbage "custom" system that was on the car. It would also be helpful if the hangers provided were coded to locations on the exhaust as its not blatantly clear from the photos where each one goes.

Soundwise I can't say much as the car is still on the lift awaiting new rear struts, but it sounded clean idling and revving in neutral, especially without a muffler! I'm recycling the no name "Turbo style" muffler that was on the old exhaust so its pretty quite and mello. Anxious to get it out on the road and see what its like at highway speeds and during some spritied driving on my favorite twisty road.

For anyone else installing with the provided clamps, you definitely need to tighten those things more than you'd expect to keep everything tight, espcially where the resonator section attached to the beginning of the tailpipe near the gas tank. This is a critical connection that supports the 90 degree bend and keeps it from hanging down.

Thanks again for making this happen Loudsho, SHO Source and all other buyers! Was worth the wait!

Damn, I should have held out for this system instead of buying the parts to piece together my own. I might still order one if there are any available.

The muffler I have is a Magnaflow with a side inlet and outlet on the opposite side. Will this work or do I need a center inlet?

Thanks for the comments! Yes some instalation instructions would help but then it would take me a while to get them. Maybe if we do more I can look into it. Though most of it only fits 1 way so if it dosent look right it proabably isnt.

If you can leave comments on the site it would be great.

We actually only have 2 kits left. 1 single and 1 dual so if you want it, get it now! We might do some more if there is some demand.

The kits works best with a center inlet. It can work with other types but you will have to make your own hanger. We provde the parts to work with a center inlet side out muffler and bolt up exactly.
