For all you guys that have been buying the pilot bushings and bearings from me over the past couple of years, I am having machined the adaptors that allow you to bolt the Aerostar bell housing to the Borg Warner T-5. Just in case you're wanting to get the motor aligned North/South, like God intended.

Here it is:

And this is how it looks all together:

I will only have 5 for sale and it will be "first to paypal, first served". If you want the adaptor only, the cost is 206.00 Plus shipping.

If you want the bolts, nuts, studs, washers and the little tube of LocTite to anchor the studs with, the cost will be 247.00 plus shipping. The bolts are all hardware store available grade 5 bolts, and I make the studs from grade 5 bolts also.

The adaptors will be arriving from the machine shop on the 14th, test fitted to my T-5 and Aerostar bell housing on the 15th and ready to ship after that.

The Forum will get 10.00 for each one I sell. Bizzy, I'm going to PayPal you the entire 50.00 now so I don't forget later, and I don't think there will be a problem selling these.

My Paypal is [email protected]

Now we just need a source for Aerostar bellhousings. I'd be all over it if I had one...or could get one.

Car-Part.com shows a lot of the transmissions available. I bet if you took 50.00 cash to a yard that has one, they'd sell you the bell housing off it.

And here they are! All have been test fitted onto my AeroStar bell housing and my Borg Warner T-5 model 1352- 238

Two are sold so there are 3 left for sale.

BTW...In case any of you guys are looking for the correct T-5 to use with this adapter, here is a list of T-5's and their tag number. The number that is important is the 3 digit one following the 1352-

219 94 Mustang w/5.0 300 lb*ft
220 94 Mustang w/3.8 265 lb*ft
236 94.5 Mustang w/3.8 265 lb*ft
238 94-97 Mustang w/3.8 265 lb*ft
242 94-95 Mustang Cobra w/5.0 310 lb*ft
246 94-95 Mustang w/5.0 300 lb*ft

All of the above have the 7.85" long input shaft that we need to reach the crankshaft pilot bearing. Number 242 is the absolute best because it has a tapered roller pocket bearing. Any of these can be upgraded to "242" level by a competent tranny guy.

Well, you'll have to wait for quite a while. This is my last run of these. On to other projects.

Sure, let me know if the tranny side of the Bronco II bell housing is the same as the tranny side of the Aerostar bell housing, because then you can use one of these adaptors that I have made.

All of the hardware, (bolts, studs, washers and nuts) has arrived. I can install the studs for you or you can do it yourself. I'll include a little package of the super grip Loc-Tite if you want to install them yourself.
