Holy cow, this place has changed a lot in 12 years. I had no idea it was in such a state of disrepair when the new owners purchased. Very cool vid here:

So, I guess I will be bringing my mustang, as frankly I'd rather hit the wall in that than my wife's SHO!

First time I heard that R8 vid, I thought it was me! Sounds like me (or what I sound like to my own ears anyway) and the guys name is Tim.

the top tier cars were insanely fast in a straight line, too bad we didn't see what Mike Skeen and that Ganassi stock car would have done. he broke in warm up but had gone by me in a straight line like I was in reverse.

here's the final results, I think I was one of the few (maybe the only one) in the top 15 with working A/C. ;)

ironically I ran wider tires and lighter weight for the UTCC, put 90 lbs back in the car and ran skinnier tires sat/sun (for TTA class rules) and went faster :laugh_ti: Shows you I need more laps at VIR, kept getting faster, still figuring that place out. It's tricky

his problem was he thought of a way for the situation to get worse. and Murphy likes to take suggestions. when I had my last wreck I thought, "shouldn't this car roll right about now?" it didn't roll but the back end kicked out a little bit more filling the center of my path with a tree instead of emptyness.

he should be happy that it was a tire wall instead of a concrete barrier. looks like the corner was a little off camber with a nice little crest at the end to lighten up the rear of the car. he should have realized something was up when he reeled in the viper so quickly
