Y-Pipe

I bottomed out the SHO earlier today and now it's LOUD!!! I went and took a look, it seems that I have torn a nice hole in the Y, it's right where it meets the rest of the exhaust. I'm in need of a pipe now. Any manufactures make a nice replacement that's a decent price?

As to not sound biased to one or the other, do a search on Y-pipe and you'll get a wealth of info from our members, we even have a feedback section on mods members have purchased and have the option to let us know if they like it or not.

Are you guys are going to ever bring back the equal length Y-pipe that Vadim used to sell?

Reason i ask is because i have being waiting for one ever since you guys took over his business.

We're trying to. The vendor that used to make it retired. We've tried several other vendors with no success. We have a couple looking into it now. Hopefully we'll get a winner soon.

Seems like I woke up an old topic here. Hehe. I also need a new set of mufflers. I may go with some 18" Sweet Thunders. There's a 3.2 ATX SHO in town with them in place of the stock mufflers. It doesn't sound bad at all. No rasp. Just a nice mellow tone.

Well, now the Y-Pipe is completely detached and the the flanges on both ends are completely busted. I found an OEM replacement from RockAuto Parts for around $64 dollars. I plan on replacing the entire exhaust. I just bought a set of mufflers to get it down to a reasonable noise level. But now, it's totally hit. I need some ideas, unless I can find that pipe for pretty cheap too.

I was about to buy the Y-Pipe from Rock and now it's no where to be found on their site. Can anyone post a link to the pipe?

i've never heard of it...i'm not sure you'd find one with cats that cheap...really you have the magnaflow,catco,shobros,and performance ford...cheapest being magnaflow or catco...and their around 240-280,shobros is 269,but shipping to ohio is prob, 40-50 dollars.
