Ok, I'm trying to make a list of all that needs to be done to my car. It needs an equal-length Y on it(currently stock), and my question is: Since it's Fidanzza equipped, would it be better to go for the catted equal-length Y?

It already is a bit slow on the bottom end( but I think it needs a new MAF too LOL) So would a catless be too much of a drop in low end?

I say go catted... I did. I didn't want to deal with the smell of a cat-less pipe, or the rasp, or the supposedly weaker low end, so I got a SHO Source catted equal-length pipe from a forum member.

I don't see why the Fidanza should factor into your decision though. Are you just worried about how much torque you have on-hand when you're letting out the clutch?

No, it already has the Fidanzza installed, it just feels a little weak in the lower end...I wasn't wanting to make the problem worse, having heard that a catless Y would drop the lower end a bit.

Gotcha. I've never driven a cat-less SHO, so I can't really chime in on that point... FWIW I have a Fidanza along with the equal-length pipe and like them both very much.

also keep in mind that if you have to do smog test for inspection in your area, cats are required.

Every cat-less SHO I've ever driven was pretty weak below 2.2 krpm or so.
