These guys sell adapters to connect your ipod (or other mp3 player?) to your car stereo. I hooked one up in my Audi, and it works great. I can go between songs (but not playlists) using the CD changer controls.
Audi sells a system for about $600. But I would have to re-convert all my music into another format.
iPod and Monster make a series of boxes and controls which I didn't want visible, would have cost about $500 and apparently wasn't compatible with my stereo anyways. (I found this out after they sold me all the parts)
With the cable from mp3yourcar.com, all you have visible is the cable that plugs into the ipod. There is also a converter box of some kind and some connecters that plug into the back of your stereo. Both are well hidden.
I think most adapters are about $199.
