Ok going down the freeway at 80 with the cruise on all of a sudden the speedometer drops down to 0 and the cruise kicks off rpms dont move much but go down i push the gas and it barely picks up speed then i floor it and at about 70 i floored it and it didnt down shift just booged as the speedo went to 0 again. I get off the freeway and from a stop i hit it to see what its going to do and it revs all the way out but doesnt shift, i let all the way off and it shifts, i get to the next stop light and take off normal and it starts and then like goes into neutral so i go into a parking lot ******. I go get something to eat and decide to try an make it to my garage, the whole way over there it does great. The next day i go to start it and it starts and turns back off so i try again and it turns over real slow so ilet it sit and it starts right up. Now all the time accelerating usually over 70 the speedo will drop and shoot back up alot, keeps throwing the system too rich code. Replaced rear bank of coils and the fronts are soon to come. I know the tranny is not going so i think i have a electrical issue, any advice helps. Thankyou

Check your battery and alternator and all the associated cables.

After reading up on the abs modules on v8sho.com that sounds like its the problem, great!!!!!! I had the charging system tested at autozone and it checked out to be good.

My car won't read past 73mph because of this. It occasionally will cut out like it did to you too and the cruise will try to keep up.

The dealer told me when I bought it a year ago that the ABS module was bad.

is it normal to be intermittent because sometimes the car will do just fine and others its bad

Mine was intermintent for about three weeks before failing comletely.

More than a year here. It just now has stopped reading above 75mph so that's whats the weirdest thing about it. Otherwise it's normal.

well since the motor in my car was previously replaced i decided to go and see if the bolt that holds the plug in was tight and i got about four turns so now im going to take the plug off and see if there was any corrosion and if not ill probally look for an abs module. I was wondering if i could buy just the abs module itself or will i have to buy the hydraulic unit.
