Did it
A. Crumple or cease any of the sheet metal around the strut towers or air box/battery tray areas?
B. Deform the radiator support on top or bottom that you can see?
C. Bend the subframe or mounting points? Probably crushed the subframe bushings though.
D. Bend or tweak the fenders/mounting rail up?

Things like the bumper shocks, fenders, bumper reinforcement, bumper cover, head light cross mount, headlights, corner lights are all pretty cheap when bought used from here or ebay or gotten off a parts car.

A subframe might be hard to get and suspension parts array might cost more depending on the route you take(stock/upgrade).

If you bent the radiator support in hard and crumpled the area around the airbox/strut towers you will be best off letting her go and swapping any good usable parts to a nice used SHO.

Don't plan on it.

I totalled a 95 MTX w/ a ton of mods (block, blower, suspension, brakes, wheels etc.; $48k into the car) 5 years ago, and got $7500 for it back then. I owed $5500 on it, too.

Trade in values for the car, 95 ATX w/ 130k miles:
Exc: $1675
Good: $1375
Fair: $880

Don't expect more than trade in, honestly. Ask what the buy-back is if interested in parting the car out.

I have full coverage on my 94. Cost me about $50/month.

Why? Because I will get more out of the insurance company than I could sell it for.

Unfortunately, I am responsible for less 94ATX on the road. It was rolled down the highway, end over end. First offer from the insurance company was $5800, I collected $10200. All it took was showing my receipts and due diligence with the appraiser. Will I get that now from if I lost my 94? No way on God's green earth, but I will definately get more than $1375, good condition.

Unfortunately, here in NYC, if I wanted full coverage on my SHO, I'd be paying $3600 a year. After 2 years, you get the point.

True, but you pay that 1375, every year. Paying that for 3 years buys you a 4200 SHO. I don't know that an insurance company would give you that for a 94 SHO. Don't forget, unless you have an agreed upon value with the insurance company, mods don't count towards the value. If you fight you can sometimes get them to cover recently done maintenance.

Why are you arguing with the guy's decision to have comprehensive on his car?

I agree... Jeezus!

Sadly, they rarely differentiate between good condition and poor condition, especialy with upkeep and mods. I really wouldn't expect much of anything, but some comparison numbers might help your case, for cars that have been sold recently to show values... Good luck though!

Wow you guys are paying some pretty low insurance rates for full coverage. I'm 21 years old and have had 1 speeding ticket when I was 17 and nothing else on my insurance. I have full coverage on my custom 95 atx and it costs me $230 a month here in Boston, Massachusetts. Damn we need to get some better insurance rates or some better insurance companies here.

Im 20

I have Liability on the SHO and I pay 417 every 6 months through state farm.

I pay 776 For full coverage on my 05 escape, 6 month premium as well.

Im spending well over 1k on insurance for both cars per 6 month span.

I guess my rates arent too bad with my age and my record. I've gotten a couple tickets but MOST were court supervisioned so they didnt hit my record.

It's cuz of where you live. 04 F350 w/full insurance, 91+, 00 GSXR 750= $130/month.

The bike is around $400/yr to insure with full coverage. 1 big thing w/this is I've had my license for over 6 years which is when the rates start dropping. As soon as I lose my last ticket off my record they'll go down even lower.
