Would this fuel screen be ok to use?

Well I decided while my pump was out I would replace the fuel screen. So I ordered a new one, and this is the one the parts place gave me (the white one). I am worried that the hole is in a different location then the original and may not feed the pump right. It will now sit in a different location in the tank and I am also wondering if it will even go back into the tank because of its different location. Before installing it and losing he money I paid for it if i can't use it, I figured id ask to see what you guys thought on this.

I Replaced My Fuel Strainer Last Week And It Was Exactly Like Your New White Strainer , Works Just Fine .... Change Your Fuel Filter Also While The Car Is In The Air..rear Pass Door Area /2 Plastic Clips To Remove From The Fuel Line And It Is Basically Out, Make Sure The (fuel Filter Flow Arrow) Is Going In The Rite Direction When Installing It.
