Woo woo from front...

Argh I've been havin a very annoying issue with my 97 SHO for some months now.

Basically, after driving for like more than 10 minutes, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer (it's a crapshoot really), I start to get a wooowooowooowooot type noise coming from the passenger side wheel well (approx), 90 percent of the time when turning the wheel left. If I turn right when its makin that noise, it stops, and/or using the brakes. Even a slight press of the brake pedal will make it stop.

Ive heard guesses from a guy at work that its probably a wheel bearing, but I've also heard it could be the caliper slide pins?

Just tryin to get some input from fellow SHO drivers on this problem. If it's a wheel bearing those are apparently a PITA to change huh?

When my wheel bearings went bad applying the brakes made no difference in the noise. If using the brakes changes the sound then i would suspect the brakes.

To test for bad bearings jack the front end up, grab the wheel at the top and bottom and try to wiggle it. Any movement is bearing play.

i have the same sound on my when turnning and all and i have pin pointed my to a nosiy rear strut in the back on the passenger side i lubed the bushing hoping it was that but it is the strut for sure mine did sound like it was coming form the front but when i had the car parked i can push down on the rear of the car and when the strut comes back up it makes that woo woo sound so i would try that to see if you are having the same trouble ford has the struts for 162 each not to bad.
