I am in need of a wiring harness that goes to the engine. I have a 3.2 v6 95 SHO DOHC. We went on vacation for a month and the rats had a feast! The wires are chewed all the way to the plug-in so there is no way we can fix it. Gonna need a new one :(

This is posted in the wrong section FYI - it would receive better response in the Wanted to Buy section. Anyway PM me I have an engine wiring harness - it's out of a 93 ATX 3.2. They are compatible.

????? what's different? You really have me stumped as to what would be different about the harness - same motor/ same trans only difference between her car and my old 93 would have been the ECU right? mine had a h3z2 and she'd have the d4u1.

sorry, wrong answer. ask me how I know.....

the 93 has R12 a/c refrigerant, while the 94+ have R134a. the R134a system has a high pressure cutout switch that is not present on earlier cars, and there is wiring for that.

the 93 has different wiring to the wiper motor - 2 connectors rather than 1.

the 95 has different wiring to the rear abs sensors - at the right rear of the engine compartment has a different size connector than the earlier cars.

iirc, there is one other difference that doesn't come to mind at this moment.

depending on which portion of the under-hood wiring the op needs, one or more of these will be in play, and will lead to significant frustration, especially if you don't play this game regularly.
