wipers.....i really need help

ok.... to restate....my wipers were trying to plow through 3 inches of snow and stopped after a couple of inches......they will not move now, and i cannot hear the motor. i cannot find out which fuse controls this to see if it is the motor or not......is it likely to be the motor??????does anyone know what fuse to check????? thanks

Have you got your owners manual?? Not a repair manual, but the manual you get in the glove box when you buy a car. Look in it. It should give you the location of your fuse panel, and even pinpoint the exact fuse that controls the wiper motor. I definitely sounds to me like you simply blew a fuse. Keep your fingers crossed, find the fuse, then buy a snow brush.

Check the fuse first. It should be a large silver rectangular shaped one. The wipers are the only thing (on my car) that is run by that fuse. If that doesn't work then try the motor.

is the motor for the wipers mounted in the engine compartment.....i need to start checking if there is or isn't power to it...

Yes.....it should be on the firewall, bout middle of it.

k........ is it mounted on it's side......sorta angled up and to the passenger side?????? should i check that wiring harness on it????
