Bored now
Cracked the subframe a couple weeks ago, poor thing has broke her back. She'll never jump again. That's for all the Battlestar Galactica fans. I actually never jumped this car. Well maybe once.
Anyway, it's a sad day. A new subframe would actually put this car back on the road in great shape, but I'm not interested in putting anything else like that into it. So I'll let that stand for a moment--if you're reading this and think you'd like a stab at the whole car, $700 takes it. But you need to act NOW because I either want to get the car gone, or get it parted so I can buy another winter car before the snow starts to fly.
And hey, this SHO is famous! Aside from it being the longest running car in my stable (had it for 9 years and 100,000 miles) it was featured on the front page of Top Gear UK's website back in 2010. I'm not kidding about that either:

That adds 20% to all the parts prices! But enough of the talk. Here's what you need to know:
1993 Red ATX, 208,000 miles. Black 50/50 interior with sunroof, non-smoker, all in good shape. Driver bolster has some wear & tear down low and rear seat back on the pass side has a couple tears. Rest of black interior is good. No cracks in dash. Car does have dual airbags. Instrument cluster has brushed metal backing and the plastic trim around the instrument cluster was painted gunmetal to brighten up the interior a bit. It looks like a factory job. You can see all this in the pics below.
If anyone would like the WHOLE interior, I'll make a deal for $250. Seats, all trim, dash, carpet, floormats, instrument cluster, switches, shifter...if it's in the interior, it's included in the price. If you want to do a full interior swap, now is the time.
Car is all stock, save for a D4U1 computer. Starter was new in January, as were the plugs & wires. Alternator is from 2010. All engine accessories seem good if anyone wants used parts at cheap prices.
EATC is thin button so the buttons are cracked, but the unit itself works. Has a 10-year old Sony aftermarket CD player that I'll likely just keep & install in my next vehicle, unless someone wants to pay $80 for it.
Headlights are nice and clear. I know it doesn't show up very well in the photo, but they are clear, including the fishtanks. Fishtanks have been drilled out and have amber bulbs installed.
What else...Y-pipe seems good. Mufflers were only about a year old but they don't have stainless or chrome tips on them. Slicers were refinished in Gunmetal and are in good shape. Two tires (Continentals) are good, other two are junk. All the SHO body cladding is nice. I'm keeping the 24V badges.
I've got a very good set of Nokian Hakkapelita snow tires on black 15" inch 'weaves, would need $200 for the set.
I'm in Central Michigan, 1 hour northeast of Grand Rapids, 2.5 north of Detroit. For big stuff I'd be happy to head 2-3 hours out to meet you. That would basically cover just about anywhere along the Michigan/Ohio/Indiana/Illinois border. Also, in the next month and a half I'll be in the Chicago area and northern New Jersey area, and I can bring big / bulky parts to both. If you want to come visit me and pick up parts, the fall colors will be AWESOME in about a month. Pay now, pick up later. I can store parts for a bit. When you arrive we'll go sight seeing, I'll show you a 1000-horsepower wood chipper, then we'll do some burnouts in the Cobra. Seriously where else will you get this kind of service for SHO parts?
Anyway, here are a few pics. Start hitting me with posts and *** about what you need. If you got a price you'd like to pay, let me know. Just don't be an ass and offer $5 for the engine. I don't really have time for that kind of stuff.
