What size wiper blades are you all running? I see that when running the recommended 26" and 20" the drivers side blade actually hits about 4 inches of the roof. Am I missing something here or is 26" not the recommended size?

You do have the blades on the correct sides, right? 20 and 26 inch blades are correct for this application. Switch the blades & see.

Tried swapping the blades. Did not work. 20" blade on the drivers side still barely hits the roof and leaves quite a large amount of windshield not wiped. Starting to go nuts here. Have never had this much trouble with windshield wipers.

Were the wiper arms ever removed on your SHO? Where do they come to rest? Was the windshield replaced? Can you post a pic of the way the wipers sit at rest?

I am the second owner of the sho so them being removed could be a possibility. I will get a picture of them at rest tomorrow. Thanks for your help as always.

Not seeing a problem from the pic, what blades did you put on, OEM or ...? I was thinking maybe the wiper arm rest position was too high or something, or maybe the wiper arm is reversed. Not sure if they make the wiper arm lengths different as well on cars with different sized wiper blades.

Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment
  1. Cycle and park the windshield wipers.
  1. Verify that the RH and LH wiper blade tips are aligned to the "I" marks on the lower windshield glass.
  1. NOTE: Make sure there is no mechanical binding in the linkage preventing the wiper arms from returning to the full PARK position.

If not within specification, remove the wiper pivot arms and reposition to the correct location. For additional information, refer to Wiper Pivot Arm in this section.

Nice catch. Just checked my 2015, looks like driver/passenger side are reversed.

Thanks a lot. Wonder what would of happened that the arms got reversed. The joys of being the second owner. Typical tab and nut to swap the arms?

I believe all you have to do is remove the nut, then use a puller to get the wiper arm off. When reinstalling tighten the nut to 18 ft-lb. Just be careful when reinstalling to make sure the wipers come to rest where they are supposed to (on the "I"s).

SHOdded is right as usual. Remove nut, pull arms off (they are a PIA really due to their design), reinstall arms on the correct sides paying attention to where the wipers land on the windshield as there are marks and torque nuts to spec. You don't have to have the wipers hit exactly on the marks just as long as their close but under is better than over (i.e. above the mark). If they are above the mark you might get some blade chatter when driving at highway speeds or with wind gusts

That's got to be one of the weirder things I've heard of on a SHO. Wonder why or how that happened to the previous owner?
