So far, this winter is off to a great start. Every morning I get to look forward to holding my driver's door closed until I get to school in 'tosa and the inside of the door warms up. It's real fun when I am driving down I-94. :bonk:

Or just warm it up before you go  that would be a much safer option, evasive maneuvers would be interesting while holding the door shut and I definitely wouldn’t want to get in an accident like that :shakehead

I've had it warm up completely without any luck. It needs to be replaced. Just a matter of when. :salute:

I know what you mean. :( I hate how driving a car through multiple Wisconsin winters is practically a death sentence to keeping it in good condition. It's hard to spend any money on a good winter car when you know it's going to literally rot away (unless you have money coming out of your butt and you don't care if you shiny new BMW gets coated with salt and muck).

I do upgrades with the realization that I may have to strip them and move them to a new car once the body on mine rusts out. Fortunately, the body is sound at this point in time. The underside is a bit rusty and rust is starting at the inside bottoms of the doors, but I think I have a number of years before it is "terminal".

The SRT has been in storage since October 22nd and will be coming out whenever we get a good 1st rain to clean off the roads. Until then I'm driving my $350 1999 Grand Am. Its a junker but runs good, no rust, and got a damn good deal on it so..
