So i have a passenger side front window that went down, but did not go up from the driver door switch. I tried it from the passenger side switch and it woudln't work either.
(I say this because i cannot lower my passenger side rear window from the drivers seat, but if you are sitting back there it'll work for you. Also if its already down, i CAN put it back up from the drivers seat. It really didn't affect me so i never bothered to fix it)
But the passenger front window does affect me. While driving the interstate a few days later and freezing a little i tryed the window again and it worked. GREAT! the problem is solved for now. The next day i drive my dad somewhere and he puts the window down in the rain to look at a new honda accord. So now the window is stuck down again. Later when we got home we found out that the problem is a window switch and not the motor. He also hooked up some wires that got the window to go up. So atleast the window is up.

So i'm pretty sure i need a new passenger side front window switch. Do i also need a driver side? Or does that switch just not work because the passenger side switch doesn't work? I don't know if power goes straight from the driver switch to the window motor or if it has to go through the passenger window switch to get to the motor. Any ideas?

Dissassemble switch. Use emory cloth between the contacts to remove the glue-like substance composed of grease, dirt, copper dust. Clean with alcohol soaked q-tip and or compressed air. Re-assemble. Repeat as needed for the other doors.
