Window problem

My driver side front window goes down super slow but practically rocket's back up. Any common tricks as to why this would be?

Mine just started doing the same, 200K on the original motor, getting replaced come spring.

Take the door panel off and hose everything down with WD-40 and the put some oil on the joints and it will help alittle, but these motors tend to wear out and just end up needing replacement.

Yeah i had a 95 Camaro (the absolute worse thing window motor wise) but i just don't understand why it would be faster going up then down since it would have the weight of the glass to push upward and vise versa. I will try just spraying it down and see how that works but it just doesn't make sense to me.
