window just stopped

rear passengers side just stopped working, until now its been fine. i've been at college a couple weeks so the car sat at home i went to drive it today and the window is just dead. neither switch works and it makes no noises. any thoughts

The motor's gumminess factor from years of gunked up grease finally overcame the available torque, methinks. I've had three windows magically cease working and all three of them started working again after I rebuilt the motors. They are such simple motors that they very, very rarely fail. I have a thread in the How-To section detailing how to rebuild them. Check it out.

It can be one of two things ....

Aither the motor is just stuck or you might have to rebuild it and if you do that a simple $5 would do the trick.
