I found some nice looking 18's for sale. They are 18x8's w/ 5/108 bolt pattern and a 45mm offset.

Will they fit a Gen 1?

Or a Gen 2?

also, does anyone know the address for that wheel page that some one made up for SHO's only?

Thanks,
Efren

You will have to get some small wheel spacer for them. If they aren't hub centric, then get the pieces for this and that should give you enough room.

I don't think that there are many people running 8's on a gen one. The back should fit (with some grinding), but I am not sure about the front when turing. It will be close.

Mine are 17/7.5 and there is not a whole lot of room (I previosly grinded down the fender when I had fat 235's on the baskets). I believe my rims are closer to 40mm, so that may make a bit of a difference.

from what i've read on v8sho.com you need a 30-32mm offset for 8 inch wide rims. so with a 8-10mm spacer they should fit.

I've got 18x8" team dynamics on my 91 and ZERO fitment issues. Click on the link in my sig to see, but as long as the offset is 40-42mm I think you're in the clear... even so if the rear fenders do rub a bit, why not have a shop cut them out and seal them back up for $50-75 tops. Peace of mind and plenty of clearance. Anyways it can and has been done.
