Will a Gen. 2 center console fit in a 1992(with the Gen. 1 interior)?

I have a 1992 that has the Gen. 1 center console. Will a center console from a 1993-1995 just bolt right up or will I have to put some brackets in place to bolt it to? I don't like the center console in my car at all. Thanks.

Randy I'm eventually looking to do the same thing for my 92. Jelloslug told me that when you get a hold of the newer center console, make sure you get the mounting brackets and it will all bolt right in. Let us know how it goes!

Yes it will bolt right in (it will on the '90 and '91 1st gens also) you just need to get ALL the brackets that the console mounts to (the one under the dash is the most important). If you have a console and cannot get the brackets FPN still lists the bracks as avalable.
