In the market for new tires and SLP engineering is advertising Goodyear GS-C take-offs 4 for $399.00 Price looks good. Not sure of clearance or alignment/speedo issues.

I believe the tire book at Sam's club lists this size as an alternate.

Any idea's???????

you're talking 245/50/16's? I highly doubt they'll fit without problems. You could probably squeeze a 235/50/16 onto the rim, but a 245 is large. That's the same size as the 3rd Gen GTA's.

I think you may have problems making that work with the factory 16 inch rims. 235's will probably be better but I would suggest you look on tirerack.com and see what they have for tires and prices for the 16 inch rims. Good luck.

245's do word with you car, but you should have a rim that is a 7 or 7.5 width to work with a 245

Without wanting to get into a long discussion on how sidewalls are designed and the resulting recommendations for what width wheel you should use for particular tire widths, I can state that a 245x50x16 Bridgestone Potenza will fit just fine on your car with no rubbing and no sidewall problems for at least one of the 900 series models, having talked to engineers on the Bridgestone design team before getting a set and then having used such a set for over a year once. However, you do need to check to see what the intended wheel widths for the particular model are, which is hopefully something you can find about the tires you are looking at on the Goodyear site.

But if we are talking just fit, that is, does anything touch even in hard cornering, no, there are no problems.
