Without wanting to get into a long discussion on how sidewalls are designed and the resulting recommendations for what width wheel you should use for particular tire widths, I can state that a 245x50x16 Bridgestone Potenza will fit just fine on your car with no rubbing and no sidewall problems for at least one of the 900 series models, having talked to engineers on the Bridgestone design team before getting a set and then having used such a set for over a year once. However, you do need to check to see what the intended wheel widths for the particular model are, which is hopefully something you can find about the tires you are looking at on the Goodyear site.
But if we are talking just fit, that is, does anything touch even in hard cornering, no, there are no problems.
