wierd starting

For the past couple of weeks, when I start the car after it has sat for a good hour or two, it does nothing, like the battery is dead, then slowly, it gets a charge, and after a few seconds, starts up. after it fires, there are no problems, but I just am worried about getting stranded when it decides not to start.

I was leaning towards loose battery connection, but figured I'd ask the pros here.
