I'm doing research on my next setup and the only brand I can use is Whipple Industries since they offer different size snouts and pulley from 2.5-4". My goal is ulimate goal is 550 fwhp with the torque to match but feel the 1.6 might not be up to it, the 2.3 seems too big and I would need a 5"pulley which they don't make to underdrive it, so I'm stuck on where to go from here.... Kenne Bell will not sell a different size snout only kits....I can't find a local dealer for Opcon/Autorotor but it may be a possibility. So a 2.0L Opcon sounds good. Any thoughts?

I'd go with the bigger blower. The M-90 (1.47 liter) I had on my 3.2 was quickly outran by the SHO motor. Don't worry so much about getting an under drive pulley for the snout, just get an oversize pulley for the driving pulley. Where are you mounting the blower? On top or on the side?

Yea I think 2.3 is the only way to go, I'll try Opcon for a 2.0L but don't feel like ordering from Sweden, if I find a local dealer and get some details. The mount will be where the AC is now. Thanks.

I'd be interested to see what they quote you on the 2.3. That is a screw type blower, right? Aren't the new Ford Racing blowers screw type also? The screw type (Lysolm?) positive displacement blowers are much better than the old Roots style PD blowers, since they also compress the air inside the blower.

So you are going to drive this blower on your setup with the accessory drive belt or are you bolting a new blower drive pulley to the front of your harmonic dampener pulley?

I have a whipplecharger from a C32 AMG. I kept it thinking I might have a use for it in my SHO.

I have a M90 blower that I was back and forth on installing on my 1990 SHO. just to give it a little kick, because going from my turbo car to my stock 90 is rough. It just does not have that "passing power" like my turbo car does haha.
