Which wire on coil pack.

im installing an alarm/remote starter and it needs the tach signal wire. can i get this right off one of the wires going to the coil pack or do i need to tap into the wire coming off of the DIS? if i need to go to the DIS, does any body knows if this wire comes closer to the drivers side at any point? im doing this now, and not to be a ****, but quick answers would be appreciated. thanks

hey man i just finished a tach install on my 90 sho the wire you need is on top the tranny its grey with an orange stripe the wire is in a bundle of about eight or so if you have trouble findin this let me know and i will post pics hope this helps
