where to splice into for gauge lighting?

Still trying to get some lighting for my gauges in the A pillar gauge pod. Paul mentioned the IC (Instrument Cluster?) panel... where do you locate it?
Any wire under the steering column dash will be fine for me... I have no clue as to which one

You can always find the fuse that controls the dash lights and follow it to a place where you can splice in or get one of those fuse 'taps' and avoid the splice all together.
