I've been trying for the last week to find a replacement motor but haven't been able to find one yet. I found out the hard way that the replacement fan assemble that AutoZone sells isn't for a SHO.

Is the motor for a 3.8L Taurus the same?

The reason the motor stopped working is the brushes are worn out. Would it be easiest to have it rebuilt?

Has anyone else had as much problem getting a SHO fan

The one they have listed is for a 3.0L motor

He usually has the whole motor/shroud assembly available for $50.00 shipped.
I emailed him & they don't have one either
