I feel like a tard asking this but just as I thought I had finally completed all the repairs on my car i took it down to watch the Wilmington fireworks, well needless to say just as I got to start enjoying my exhaust being back together my tranny starting acting fishy in 1-2 shifts.

After some preliminary worries that i had hurt something during my short 3/4 throttle run on the freeway I parked that car at the point where simple city driving became dangerous after experiencing some really intense shuddering in any shift under 30 mph.

I thought my 4th was about to be ruined but after I checked up under the engine I saw the culprit. Mercon V on the ground leaking out from under my pan. I noticed this fluid clinging to the bottom of the transmission and other places but i figured it to be oil because I hadn't replaced the crush washer after my last oil change.

Anyways, after limping it home i woke up today to realize i can't find any where to add fluid to my trans, i've tried tracking line back from the tranny with no luck.

Is this another Ford gimmick to try and force people to take their cars to shops for something as simple as adding tranny fluid or am I missing something here?

Any enlightenment is nice.

Should be right behind the EGR valve area, just a small dipstick not that easy to find. Take another look for a more basic area stand on the drivers side to find it below the master cylinder I cant remember if its to the left or right of it.

Alright, I know exactly where your talking about, drivers side, it's somewhat lower than everything else that's crammed into the engine bay on the engine side of the master cylinder.

Thanks guys, I was expecting a more obvious "fill here" sort of thing but I guess you can't win em' all.
