The grounding strap shown (about halfway down on the far right side) is not connected to anything in this pic (from the SHOPP upper 60 guide), and the other day I noticed that the same strap in my SHO is not connected. Where does the connect to?

Intake, not exhaust manifolds.

BTW, some people on the SHOTimes list stated that replacing it with a larger one helped the engine rough running issues. When I did mine, I make sure I put dielectric grease on both ends of the factory ground cable after I cleaned them off. No problems.

It slids onto the stud that is sticking out after you install the rear intake support bracket. You should have a black wiring harness bracket currently on this stud, remove the nut and install the strap replace nut and tighten.

Put a washer between the cable lug and the nut so it is easy to remove next time. :corn:

Ok, so it goes attached with the big gounding strap on the rear passenger intake support bracket? What doesn't function correctly on the car when this isn't attached to anything? I haven't noticed anything running poorly
