What is the best way to remove the berg. from the Alum Hub? I have a race car with the SHO mounted in the rear. I dont know for sure what the correct year of the Hubs are, bust I was told they didnt make them from Alum. till 95. Thanks in advance, Butchman

Aluminum knuckles didn't start until '96.

Pop the lower ball joint out, remove the axle, take out the three bolts to the wheel bearing, and it comes out.

The aluminum hub has a tendency to corrode and grab onto the hub, so even if you unbolt it, it might still be stuck. Just hammer/press it out, and then clean up the corrosion before installing the new hubs.

I think you owe us a picture or two of your car, for the help. :wave:

Here's a couple of photos of the much modified front steering knuckles that are now the rear uprights. Will send photo of car later. Sorry for the delay...

Please take more pics and share how you've got that alternator mounted in the AC compressor's spot....making room on top for a super charger.
