I have a 1997 and the car has started to act strange...theres times the car will not start and acts like its the battery..and in a few attempts to start will start with no problems. The battery s good and the alternator is charging. I recently replaced the transmission neutral safety switch because it was going bad..I hoped this would stop my problem from happening again but it still acts up. Any suggestions ? anyone else ever had this problem. Thanks

this may be obvious, but -- battery terminals, cables.

I've had cars with similar symptoms and determined there was a bad connection on the batt (+) even though it appeared fine.
