Yes. I've read that some CCs aren't compatable, or need to be modified to work with aftermarket dps.

You don't need a CC for DP's. You need to modify an after market intake for a CC.

There isnt any different. Buy them from Vivid. I am local to both if you run into an shipping issues.
Damn wish I would've known this...I had a shipping issue with a set of wheels I just bought not too long ago from ViVid...ended up working out, but at the time was a pain to deal with. Had to go to their COO (?) To get it resolved...

Wow. I have never had issues with them. Both PPE and Vivid are 30 mins from my house and only like two miles from each other lol.

Well, it was a miscommunication issue and their COO really took care of me once I got in touch with him, so I'm all good with them now. But at the time I had wished I knew somebody down there lol.

UPR catch can is ordered...no fancy color, though, just satin black. Also ordered the PPE catless down pipes. Not a bad way to spend a grand.

Next on the list is the new torque mount, but I can't order that yet, I don't think.

Springs...but I have a question...is there a different in mounting positions for suspension components from performance plus to non PP? I was going to get H and R springs, and then the stock police shocks. But I can't tell if there are different mounting positions.

Also...1,500 for a fuel pump!?! **** balls! The fuel pump in the corvette was 200 bucks...and it flowed TONS of gas.

Keep in mind that $1500 is only for the HP fuel pump, There's always the LP fuel pump in the tank that is begging to be upgraded as well lol. That thing can be found for under $200.

Is the low pressure pump something I would need to upgrade? Only looking for 430awhp, give or take. No meth, no larger turbos, etc.

I think you should be fine at that level. But if you ever wanted to run e85 than the stock lpfp will not be able to supply the xdi-35 with enough fuel.

I'd love to run it, but my fantastic state doesn't have it. Yay, Connecticut!

If your running bigger turbos the. You would need it then right ?

If you push higher boost, yes. More boost = more fuel, otherwise you go too lean and get pre detonation, aka, knock.

There are gains with upgraded hpfp even it you don't run E. I ran a 12.4 with gearhead auto octane tune with 93 octane. That was just the base tune, wouldn't be surprised if it was a hair or two faster now that I have a revision. I usually stick to e30 tho.

All understandable, just saying from a cost perspective. If you don’t plan on running more than 93 are the gains worth $1,500? If you have access to more octane, then absolutely.

I suppose you have to think about the reliability of a more capable pump too. Running your stock pump at full blast to keep “x” amount of pressure is going to be much more extreme than running an upgraded one at 80%.

Same idea with our turbos, if you want 450hp, for example, and you are pushing 18 psi boost on stock turbos to get there, it would be less stress and more reliable to upgrade your turbos to only need 14psi of boost to achieve 450hp.

Additionally, if you ever want an aggressive “**** everything” tune, you have the hardware to do that.

To the OP though, if I was dropping $4k the XDI would be part of the equation.
Yeah...its expensive...but I'm sold. Old fuel pump has...now...119k miles.

Funny story...about the corvette. Got it with 105k miles. Did a top end rebuild, Litterally doubled its power, and then some. Didn't replace the fuel pump. Fail sauce. Fuel pump wined and gasped its last breath at 108 mph on route 8 at 11pm. Car stalled. No power steering, thank God, but the breaks...well, now, that was a different story. Got one good pump on em, then had stand on it, and coast her off to the side. Started it again, and stuttered her home.

Sometimes, even if it ain't broke (yet), it should still be "fixed".
