Hey guys, Lets see what you drove before your Taurus and what your next ride will be.
Mods list welcome! I'll start it off.

My next car is either going to be an F150 or WRX

2013 Ford Escape SE (White and nicked named "The Rolling Diaper) and a silver 2004 Tahoe LT fully loaded.... To be honest... I do miss the Tahoe a lot.. it was a beast.. the Ford Escape was a waste of time and money.. got it to commute to work since the Tahoe was costing me $75 every 3 days in gas...

Next ride? Ummmm dunno.. haven't thought about it... I do like the Chevy SS...Or maybe another Tahoe...

Did not get a picture of it. I was a 2013 Toyota Rav4 for work. I do have a 1993 F-150 w/54k and 1998 Mustang w/160k. Just got a 2017 escape for wife for Christmas lease, she might do 6k per year on it, lol

2013 Mustang MCA convertible. Modified quite a bit. First by Classic Design Concepts for a promotion, then I added a turbo, and Revelare Designs offered a cowl hood at cost as a promotion/sponsorship. It was one of 5 hoods in existence, they stopped production after problems with the fiberglass guy.

Turbo took out the original engine due to a bad tune. Second engine was lost when it overboosted with 15 lbs on a 5 lb waste gate spring. Fixed the overboosting with a 3 lb spring and lost engine 3 due to installer error. He didn't do the crank relearn process and burned through a couple of pistons causing massive oil blow by of course.

Discovered that the installer missed the crank relearn process when engine 4 started giving random mis-fire codes.

2002 Ford Explorer Limited 4x4. Had a CAI, exhaust, throttle body and tune. Ran a best of 15.1 with the 20" wheels. Owned it for nearly 10 years before selling it a year ago to purchase my '12 MKS. Sold it last Dec. with 212,000 miles and last week the new owner says it's still going strong. I miss it everyday and should have kept it.

Before- 20013 Taurus SEL, tuxedo black. Early build, it was the first 2.0 ecoboost the dealer got. I miss the fuel economy, nothing more.

Next - Dunno. This one is too much fun.

We had a '94 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, the supercharged 3.8. Much like the SHO, that car was loaded with a ton of creature comforts. But it had become fairly un-relaible, and the breaking point was when that one and my old Chevy pickup both broke down at the same time. Usually the truck was the 'back up' when one of the cars needed service. Finally decided that pursuing a new car with warranty coverage sounded good. I reckon that we will be keeping the SHO for a long while, my wife and I really both enjoy the car.

Next vehicle purchase? Maybe a pickup, or SUV. Need something with towing capacity that can replace/upgrade the S-Series Blazer that is our other current vehicle on the road.

But maybe if I'm lucky enough, I will get to put some effort towards getting my T-Type Regal back to roadworthy ahead of another big purchase and getting tied down with payments for several years. Engine needs freshening and solution to several oil leaks, and I have a turbo upgrade, downpipe, etc ready to go on when I can finally get back to wrenching on that car.

That is one good looking Mustang. Wish I still had mine. A few summers ago my wife and I were driving home from dinner and a Jeep Liberty ran a red light and totaled mine.

Thanks, sad to see yours like that - and I see you are a fellow Chip as well!

I traded the 2013 after it left me stranded in the middle of Detroit during morning rush hour. The cooling fan wiring burned, fans quit, and in bumper to bumper traffic it suddenly started blowing steam all over. With that hood steam was coming out of the vents and the cowl and I'm sure that the people on either side of me thought it was on fire. Everyone stopped so I could get it off to the shoulder right away. When I opened the hood I expected to see a blown hose - but nothing like that. So I turned the key to "on" and walked back to the front stood there and thought "the fans should be running, I think I know the problem". After all the issues with the engine and emissions system my wife said "this car is cursed, let's get rid of it"

Last car was a 2007 Cadillac STS. Next car will be either a 2014, 2015 or 2016 Ford Taurus SHO. Patiently waiting for this one to die.

Previous was an 07 Subaru Legacy. Great car. Basically an Imprezza with more trunk space and weight. But I absolutely loved the winter package. Heated wipers was amazing.

Next car I hope to have is a Jag. XJ or F-Pace, not sure. But it will be a ways off.
