what was ford thinking

need some help I'am trying to get a part print for 3rd gear, ford customer service not very helpful. We tried to measure the pitch but it's not std. or metric any input would be helpful. thanks btw some of my research did pay off found a brand new 3rd. gear.

Theres not really anything as a "standard or metric" gear. You really need to take the whole tranny to someone that make gears (it would be better if they specilize it transmitions). Without special equipment you cannot find the pitch diameter, the helix angle, the presure angle and a bunch of other dimentions that are needed to make a gear of thet complexity.
