So I’m wanting to do a fluid and filter change on my 95 ATX, but when i’m looking at gaskets I see options such as AXOD-E, AX4N, AXOD. How do I identify what transmission is in my SHO?

If it’s any assistance with this, the car has overdrive and cruise control.

If you look at the bottom of the transmission pan, it should have "AXOD-E" stamped on it.

I will double check once again when i’m home but I was not able to find any stamp that specified it, unless it’s under that sticker. but thank you!

I used the wrong word - its not "stamped" it is "embossed" - if you look at the photo there are letters raised on the bottom surface of the pan, but its too small to read them. The lettering is like 2" tall on the pan.

iirc, the pan always said AXOD-E even after they renamed the transmission.

Ax4s is what you want.. I believe I have extra gasket or 2 and a filter. I have no use for them anymore.
