So, I was troubleshooting a bad DIS (stumble at idle/very light throttle, very heat dependant, new coil, new wires, new plugs), and I swapped a DIS from my wife's car to verify. Hey, car runs great! So now I have to swap DIS modules back so my wife can go to work tomorrow... and I drop one of the bolts. Into the subframe. I don't know how the **** it got into the little hole in front of the strut rod mount, but there is NO way it's coming back out.

So, long story short, how big is that DIS bolt? I know it's 5.5mm for the head, I'd say M4x.75? Wee little bugger.

I have a spare set if you need them. As for the size, I have no idea how to tell.

Take the other bolt to a hardware store and start trying to screw different size nuts onto it. Once you find the right one, match the nut thread pitch/size to another bolt. :)

I also have a spare if you need them, but the head of the bolt is a 5.5 mm, and I have no idea what size the actual thread is, but I too lost one in the subframe a year ago, and could not find it at any hardware store, so whenever I see a DIS at the junkyard, I grab it and it's bolts. Let me know if you want one or two, I can just drop them in an envelope and send them off if needed, unless Devin is closer. If you need them right away, I did find a size super close in the hardware section under machine screws, so maybe you can find the right one there. Good luck!

Thanks, all! the actual bolt size was M4x.7, so I wasn't too far off. Advance auto, for some reason, had a bunch of those in stock. Go figure...
