What should I do about the dingy old looking wheels?

I am making real progress with my original owner, 89 never abused nor crashed SHO. 98,000 mi.
Runs really good and just speant months and lots to completely redo ( bad rust) the body and paint it. Now it looks great except the wheels and tires look old and dingy by comparison! Is it possible to somehow have them refinished? Buy used ones that look better? Are "new ones" available ? How much are these options likely to cost? Thanks in advance for any comments and advice. Get you some slicers thumbs_u (What you commonly see on the 1992- 1995 shos.) Check out my sig.
You can find them for around $200- 250 (plus shipping) Around $300 total. Look on the forum (Classifieds) or check ebay. I would definitely put away the basketweaves. I could not even give mine away. (keep them though... ORIGINALS... being the first year the sho was made.)
If you had a lot of extra cash, the newer shos (96-99) wheels will fit as well. If you do a search on the forum, someone has 98 chrome sho wheels on a 91 sho. Looks great! But the slicers are cheaper and will do wonders for the appearance.
Welcome to the forum. You can get a lot of great advice and help from a lot of people here thumbs_u

Thanks for the advice and kind words. I will check them out. Your car sure looks neat. I will look in the classified section here and ask around. Mike C
