Hello, a friend of mine has a sweet set of mirrors from his mustang, and was wondering how far off the pattern would be to bolt it into my car? These mirrors would look sweet IMHO, and wondering how far off the pattern is. I'd drill another hole and dremel the edges if it wouldnt fit direct, but just wondering if anyone has any idea on this. Thanks in advance!

Kevin, I did some research one night at the Ford Dealer, looking for heated mirrors from a Gen 4 to see if they'd fit on my 95 ATX (They do, FWIW).

They have a mirror style chart at the dealer - you can cross-reference the mirror style from whatever car you want, and if the mount style is the same, then you can just swap them out. Wiring for heating, turn-signals, etc. would be different obviously.

Thats a nice looking SHO you have there, The wheels remind me of the Tenth Aniv. Cobra wheels. Have you considered Running Generation 1 mirror's, and painting the same color as your car? The forum memebers " PROPHET " And " Coilavera95 " (sp?) Did it to there cars, looks EXTREMLY Sharp :thumb:

Oh I love the look of the Gen I mirrors, I am strongly considering those, but I found a set of trick carbon fiber w/ led mirrors off of a stang, and I have a good amount of c/f accessories, I'm willing to run them for a while and see how they fit. They are also M3 style, lol so sooner or later I'l have an M3 SHO. JK thats not my goal, but I do like the look of them, and they are off of a 95 mustang.

I've realized even the rangers probably bolt up the same way as ours, its just going to be the trim around it... I would prefer to get a mirror with a bigger trim, so I can dremel it down or something, otherwise I dont know what my other options are....

That's what I'm telling you Kevin... go to the dealer, get the cross-reference sheet printout so you have that as a starting point, then ask "what's the mirror mounting style for a XX Mustang", etc. - it'll tell you exactly what'll bolt up.

I do have (or did have, anyway) the sheet at the shop. Will be there tonight after 7 if you feel like coming out.
