Happy Friday everyone! I’ve seen a few posts about people second guessing purchasing a SHO so I figured it’d be a great time to hear everyone’s favorite memory in their SHOs.

Let’s bring in the weekend and cold weather with some reminiscing.

Fist time at the track with it. I had no intentions on going and it's a 2 and ahalf hour ride but that morning a buddy texted some friends will be down there. Decided why not and jumped in, made tech by literally 3 minutes to spare. It was Nissan day and of course a bunch of GTR were there. Lined up with a fender flared and loud exhaust R35 and got him off the line bad enough he wouldn't go on green when he got stuck lined up with me again the next run. Of course he came around on me IIRC it was 12.8@107 to 11.5 but his reaction in the pits after was priceless.

Can't get on youtube at work but here is a potato quality vid.

Pulling up next to a cocky Camaro ZL1 1LE driver - he knew I had a SHO and might want to play. So he revs his engine (extremely jealous of that sound!!!) He and his little buddy were smiling and being stupid until the light turned green! I instantly jump a car length on him (I'm sure he was spinning a little) but I look in my driver's side mirror to see if he's even coming. I noticed all the smiling and goofing around suddenly stopped! About the top of 2nd gear I hear a screaming engine next to me and he's reeling me in and passes me in 3rd gear.

I'm not claiming I won the race or anything - it's just such a joy to have this huge massive 4-door family sedan "kind of," embarrass these sports cars off the line! They expect a complete annihilation of my car and find themselves getting whipped at first! I even roll-raced another ZL1 from about 20 mph and jumped on him and he struggled to reel me in by the time you need to get off the gas. Their faces are priceless!

Caught a Porsche 911 off guard and walked him. He didn't realize it was more than just a Taurus.

I had a situation like that one day, but it definitely wasn't a "favorite" because the guy turned into the worst, most dangerous a-hole I've ever seen on the road.

Walked away from an unsuspecting Porsche Cabriolet S at a stop light one day. He was behind me. Getting onto a major highway, took the on-ramp at a decent speed, but the issue was that I pulled away so fast.

Porsche driver (kid) decides he can't have that, so he zooms around me on the shoulder to pass me. Highway has a lot of traffic, and it's slowing down. Get over a few lanes, Porsche is in front me. Enter the HOV lane because I had a passenger, Porsche is now stuck in 40MPH traffic as I pass him.

He enters the HOV, again passing me and a few other cars on the shoulder, HOV actually starts to slow down, now he cuts across three lanes to get onto the right shoulder and flies down the road about a 1/2 mile before exiting the highway. Utter and complete idiot. He disappeared from view as he passed a semi in the right lane.

Ever see some of those rekt videos where a vehicle crash occurs, and there's just plastic flying everywhere? I totally expected this guy to crash. At one point he was doing over 100, swerved, and I thought for sure he was going to lose it. I guess the Porsche Stability Management kept him from it.

But yeah, I still get a warm and fuzzy that I made a Porsche driver unhappy one day. ;)

As someone who spends a lot of time on the LIE this made me smile and scowl at the same time.

I have never ever triggered someone like that, either on purpose or not. That "warm and fuzzy" is tempered with horror.
